Medication requests over the phone: We are no longer taking medication requests over the phone unless you are housebound or the GP has agreed to accept medication requests in this way. Did you know you can sign up to patient online services and order your medication online and view parts of your medical record? Visit our Patient Online Services page for further information.

Influenza Vaccinations Over 65's and Under 65's - Letters will be arriving this week about our Flu Clinics in September and October. Please wait for your letter to arrive before calling the surgery. Over 50's: we have no information about this vaccination programme and you will receive a letter in due course. Please do not call the surgery about this.

Stay alert

Help control the virus:

To protect yourself and others, when you leave home you must:

  • wash hands - keep washing your hands regularly
  • cover face - wear a face covering over your nose and mouth in enclosed spaces
  • make space - stay at least a metre away from people not in your household

If you are feeling unwell, get a test and do not leave home for at least 10 days.

Do not leave home if you or someone you live with has any of the following:

  • a high temperature
  • a new, continuous cough
  • a loss of, or change to, your sense of smell or taste

We are getting more phone calls during this time and the staff at Eastview are working extremely hard to deal with all your queries.

We are on limited staff due to social distancing, so it may take longer than normal to answer your call.

We ask that during this time you use the general queries line as sparingly as possible and call only at certain times:

Due to the national spread of Coronavirus (COVID-19), we have postponed all routine appointments, reviews, checks and bloods.

If you think you need an appointment, please call and you will be called back and triaged by a clinical member of staff.

Sunday Closed

On Monday evening we have an extended clinic from 18:30-21:15pm. These appointments become available to book from 2pm the Tuesday before.         (On the week of a bank holiday this will fall on another evening)

*Please note that during Monday evening's surgery there is no phone access available. 

The surgery is closed on a Wednesday for staff training, once a month.
